Rules for Artists & Writers (in Courier New 11 with Hand-Placed Ampersands)
I took a wonderful class at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago this summer. Led by artist Frances Lightbound, it was engagingly titled "How Do We Make Now? Prompts, Proposals, and Provocations."

In the end, just three students showed up, including me.
We explored Yoko Ono's "Grapefruit," Moholy-Nagy's "Tactile Exercises," and the Compound Yellow "Manual of Prompts, Provocations, Permissions, and Parameters for Everday Practices," among other prompts.
The class closed with an optional assignment. I was the only one who opted in, so the envisioned "collective document" became a single page. The prompt was to create a set of rules. Here's mine:
